 There are a few points to note:

• Disks are no longer issued for the Student Design Kit this year.  The SDK is via Download only
• As in previous years the School ID will be required to complete the download. (Details below)
• The Student obtains the serial number by following the instructions outlined.
• An email with the SDK serial number will be sent back to the email address used by the student.
• Please identify what operating system is being used to ensure the correct download.

Where to find School ID

• The School ID, which is required for downloading the SDK, can also be determined from your SolidWorks School Serial Number.
• To locate your SolidWorks School Serial Number, go to a classroom PC with SolidWorks installed.
• Open SolidWorks and go to Help -> About SolidWorks
• Here your SolidWorks School Serial Number will be listed.
• Do not give this Serial Number to Students.
• The format of the Serial Number is: 0000 00XX XXXX 0000 0000 0000
• XXXXXX will be your School ID.
• This School ID code can be given to students to download the SDK as outlined in the instructions
